Dear Royallers, Despite our best efforts and exploring every possible avenue, we’ve unfortunately encountered unforeseen technical issues that mean at this time it will be impossible for us to have MapleRoyals' new source working on computers using the Mac operating system as initially planned. We can however confirm that development of a new cross-platform client is in progress which will work seamlessly on Mac, Linux and Windows. But this client will not be ready until late 2017 at the earliest. Until then the only way to be able to play MapleRoyals on a Mac computer will be on Windows through a virtual machine or Boot Camp. The aforementioned methods will require a Windows installation which comes at a cost of approximately £15 (for Windows 7), or a 90 day renewable trial that can be used for VirtualBox. If you are unsure on how to use a Virtual Machine or Boot Camp on your Mac computer, there are many guides online. If you need any further assistance please create a thread in the Tech Zone section on the forum where members of the community and staff can try to assist. We’d like to apologise to those affected by this development and offer refunds to players that have made purchases of RP since 1st August 2016 and are unable to continue playing MapleRoyals entirely (refuse/unable to set up an instance of Windows to play on). Refunds will total the amount spent on RP since 1st August 2016 and will result your account being permanently banned, however if you find that you are able to continue playing in the future, you will have until 15th December 2017 to have your account reinstated by making a repayment of the refunded amount.
