I've noticed a huge difference in MP between casting Blizzard and Meteor, not sure if it has been reported before (tried searching). Now we know that Genesis, Meteor and Blizzard all consumes 3,500 MP to cast according to their individual skill description, however for Mages (I/L & F/P) there's an additional skill in 3rd job called Element Amplification where one consumes twice as much MP (200%) to have a boost in Magic Attack by 135% hence Meteor and Blizzard should both consume 7,000 MP each cast. However this is how it works currently in the server: I/L Mage: Minus 3,500 MP per cast and unable to cast Blizzard when MP is < 7k F/P Mage: Minus 7,000 MP per cast and unable to cast Meteor when MP is <7k I've been playing F/P mage for a while now after a Bishop so the change from 3,500 MP for Genesis to 7,000 MP for Meteor was pretty significant. I kept dying at Petris often during my 12x-13x periods due to the huge MP cost + touch damage from Petris. Also you run out of pots pretty easily as well because of the double MP cost (1,500 Ales can last well over 4 hours on my Bishop whereas for F/P it lasts a little over an hour). But hey, that's how it works when you have Elemental Amplification so i didn't really think too much about it. However it looks like this only applies to F/P Mages and not I/L Mages. I double-checked this with 2 other I/L mages (Iffy & Wolfix) since i don't own an I/L Mage and it looks like this 'bug' has been present for a long time now. They still do need 7k MP to cast Blizzard, it just minuses 3.5k instead. I can see how this can easily be seen as a QQ thread since i'm the F/P here and the bug lies with I/L Mages giving them an 'added advantage' in one way or another, just thought i'd point it out regardless. It's not surprising people didn't realize this as I/L Mages tend to overlook the 'Element Amplification' skill while F/P Mages can only reason their 7k MP loss per Meteor by looking back at their 3rd job skill.
