Which one pays more for NL and BM. Taking into account time / price. 1 Apple / ATK 100 = 10m = 10 Minute 10 Heartstopper / 60 ATK = 4.5m = 10 minute
10 heartstoppers run about 4.7 to 5mil and one apple costs double that at 10mil. Personally, I like to use an apple for something quick but rewarding like whiting zakum arms. I would then switch to heartstoppers for body because it's more cost effective due to weapon cancel and such. Generally, people boss without even using an attack potion so you're at an advantage regardless. It doesn't hurt to have both but in my opinion, heartstoppers are more bang-for-your-bucks than apples. Also, you have to take into account that weapon attack is more beneficial to Night Lords than it does for Bowmasters. 40 weapon attack for a Night Lord will increase your range drastically whereas it has lesser effects for a Bowmaster. For a Bowmaster, I would just go with heartstoppers the whole time whereas the advice above is what I would do for a Night Lord.
Apples are better for people who don't want keep remembering to use a heartstopper every 1 minute, but I think heartstoppers are better imo,
For Night Lords, I tend to lean more towards Apples because of Alchemist, but for Bowmasters, I'd do Apples whenever I find it I'll get the most out of it like during Zakum Arms where there's no Melee Cancel and Heartstoppers the rest.
I personally like heartstoppers better for bm because it gives that extra avoid which also helps dps since you wont be knocked back as often
